Privacy at Pinbench

Pinbench is local-first. The app does not create a cloud account or upload your operational records to a Pinbench server.

Effective date: September 9, 2026

What stays on your device

Bowler display labels, hand measurements, spec revisions, ball and drill-job records, work notes, shop settings, and selected reference images are stored locally on your device. Pinbench does not operate a backend that receives or stores these records.

You control exports and backups. If you use Android’s share or save interface, the destination you choose receives the exported file under that destination’s own terms.

Purchases

Optional Premium subscriptions are sold by Google Play and purchase status is processed by RevenueCat to unlock paid features, restore purchases, and understand subscription performance. This processing can include purchase history, product and transaction identifiers, app and device-related identifiers, country, and diagnostic request information. Pinbench does not receive your payment-card number. Purchase data is encrypted in transit and is not sold or used for advertising.

Google Play’s and RevenueCat’s handling of commerce data is governed by their own privacy terms. Pinbench does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, bowler records, measurements, notes, or custom customer attributes to RevenueCat.

Photos and notifications

Pinbench uses Android’s system photo picker for user-selected reference images and does not request broad access to your photo library. If you enable a job reminder, it is scheduled locally on the device. The app does not use contacts, precise location, microphone, advertising ID, ad networks, attribution SDKs, or third-party crash analytics.

Support messages

If you submit the support form, the name, reply email, topic, and message you enter are sent to our website provider, Netlify, and delivered privately so we can respond. Do not include bowler measurements or other sensitive shop records. Support messages are retained only as reasonably needed to respond, prevent abuse, and keep necessary business records.

Deletion and retention

Operational records remain until you delete them, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. See Delete your data for exact steps. Purchase records may remain with Google Play and RevenueCat for transaction, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, and legal obligations. To request deletion of support or commerce-linked data that we can control, use the support form.

Children and scope

Pinbench is a business tool for bowling pro-shop operators and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will be updated. Questions and privacy requests can be sent through the Pinbench support form.
